Yes, we are an American Heart Association Training Site. All Healthcare CPR Courses are American Heart Association. The only class NOT American Heart Association is the “Public CPR, AED, & First Aid Course” for this class. We choose to certify our students using American Safety and Health Institute as it is more cost-effective for individuals.

FAQ's For Classes
What do I need to bring with me the day of class?
We recommend bringing note-taking materials as the American Heart Association requires a written test after completing the Presentation and Skills. We provide books, equipment, snacks, water, restrooms, etc. TESTS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC CPR, AED, & FIRST AID COURSES.
How long is my Certification good for?
Your CPR, BLS, or ACLS Certification is good for two years following the completion of your class.
If I’m taking a renewal class, do I need to show proof of a current or recently expired Certification?
Yes, you will be asked to provide proof of your last certification on the day of class.
What if my Certification has expired?
We will only accept a certification that has expired for 30 Days or less. If your card has expired longer than 30 days due to extenuating circumstances, please call our office to discuss a possible exception to this rule.
Do you offer the American Heart Association’s HeartSaver (Public CPR, AED, & First Aid) Certification instead of ASHI’s Certification?
Yes, if you would like an American Heart Association Certification for your Public CPR, AED, & First Aid Class, please notify your instructor on the day of class. There will be a $15 fee assessed to cover the AHA’s Certification cost.
Do you offer Refunds or Reschedules?
Please review our Refund and Reschedule Policy for more information.
How do I receive my Certification?
Your certification will be processed and emailed to you after completing the course. Once you accept your card, you can save the PDF and print it as a Wallet Card or Full-Page Card. The certification email does NOT come from IGH. It is sent by the American Heart Association (BLS & ACLS) or American Safety and Health Institute (Public CPR).
Where do I go and what time do I show up?
Our Training Center is located at 7601 Flagstone Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76118. We are on the Southside of the Business Complex facing an open field. Look for our black and white overhead sign that says “IGH Health, Fire, & Safety.” We ask that all Students show up at least 15 Minutes before their scheduled class time starts. If a student is past 15 minutes late, they WILL NOT be allowed to attend class and will not be subject to a refund or reschedule.
